Who Gets The Big Tax Breaks? Empower the Corporations to Show Their Patriotism

Let's Empower Corporations to Show Patriotism

Fix the debt and pay for Iraq and Afghanistan with a CORPORATE war tax.

Empower the corporations to show their patriotism for the men and women who are taking the risk and having to kiss their families goodbye for a fifth time.

While enjoying my MSNBC Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough posed the question –why not a war tax.

It’s amazing to me that the corporations are immunized to the phrase “you get what you pay for.” Young men and women, my dad, my son and my nephews, have fought for the dreams of corporate tax breaks in America.

Let’s empower American corporations to show their patriotism: Corporate War Tax

Hold that thought. Corporations run America. They wouldn’t tax themselves.

  1. I just returned from a month in Australia. I arrived shortly after the cyclone hit their northern territory and they were imposing a tax, 12 month I believe, to raise funds for the disaster. My sister, whom I was visiting, said that’s the way they pay for anything outside normal government, special taxes or “levys”. I was fascinated.

Perhaps we should pay closer attention to the way governments with $ billions in surplus function.

    Just sayin..
