We have a new crew of painted lady butterflies in our Biotechnology/Space Lab. The life cycle of painted lady butterflies is one in a three part unit that includes a research review to explore if the concern of genetically modified Bt corn is a danger to Monarch butterflies is supported by current science research, as well as a discovery unit of light interaction with the structure of the Blue Morpho butterflies at a nano level.
